Ministry Description:

Hope for Haiti Children's Center/Danita's Children Inc. is a not-for-profit Christian ministry that gives life and hope to the abandoned, forgotten and homeless children in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. Located in the remote northeast section of this impoverished nation, Hope for Haiti Children's Center prevents the local children from being destitute by giving them food, clothing and hope that only comes from the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

Founded in 1999 by Danita Estrella, who poured out her heart and soul into the village and their children, Hope for Haiti Children's Center now provides the following services to the children:

- Quality education for more than 500 children daily
- Loving home for orphans from the surrounding village
- A projected medical clinic
- 16,000 meals each month
- Books and uniforms for the school children
- Outreach through Safari Sunday School program (inspired by Bill Wilson)
- Weekly church services for the local children and their families
